The Tennessee Titans made a strong statement in Week 1, defeating the chic pick and promising Cleveland Browns badly on the road, winning 43-13 to start it season off right. The Titans travel back to Nashville to host the visiting Indianapolis Colts as 3-point favorites in a game with an over/under set at 43.5 points according to pro football oddsmakers at bookmaker 5dimes. The game will kick off at Noon (CT) on CBS Sunday.

Tennessee turned to Marcus Mariota to get its offense off to the right start in 2019. Mariota responded. The quarterback threw 14 of 24 for completion, en route to 248 yards, three touchdowns, and a strong 133.3 passer rating. Mariota also rushed for 24 of Tennessee’s 123 rushing yards, while the Titans were paced by Derrick Henry’s 19 carries for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Henry also scored the lone rushing TD. The Titans top receivers were AJ Brown with three catches for 100 yards, Derrick Henry with one 75-yard TD catch, and Delanie Walker’s five receptions for 55 yards. Tennessee completed just five passes outside of that trio’s production, but it averaged 17.7 yards per catch.
The Titans’ defense was led by Logan Ryan and Cameron Wake. Ryan had eight tackles (7 solos), including 1.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles-for-loss. Wake had 2.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles-for-loss. The Titans had five sacks on the game with seven tackles-for-loss, and the three interceptions came at the hands of Malcolm Butler, Kevin Byard, and Ryan. Ryan had an outstanding game. The Titans defense limited the Browns to 102 rushing yards, though Nick Chubb was 85 percent of the carries at just 4.4 yards-per-attempt.

The Indianapolis Colts found out it would play its 2019-20 season without star quarterback Andrew Luck, who shocked the football world with early retirement. The Colts suffered further in Week 1 with its 24-30 loss to the L.A. Chargers, and it enters week 2 as a 3.5-point underdog again on the road against Marcus Mariota and the Titans.
Jacoby Brissett looked fairly good in his first start in the post-Luck era. He threw 21 of 27 (66 percent) for completion en route to 190 yards, two touchdowns, and a 120.7 passer rating. Brissett was sacked twice for 17-yards lost, but he threw no interceptions.
The Colts got a monster performance from running back Marlon Mack. Mack rushed 25 times for 174 yards and a touchdown, and he had the lone Colts’ rushing TD. T.Y. Hilton led all receivers with eight catches (9 targets) for 87 yards and both of the Colts receiving Touchdowns.
Deon Cain and Devin Funchess caught five passes between them for 67 total yards. The Colts averaged just 9.0 yards-per-catch, but it caught 21 of 27 targeted passes. Indianapolis’ defense surrendered 333 passing yards, with Philip Rivers completing 25 of 34 for 333 yards and three touchdowns. The Colts did come up with one interception and sacked Rivers four times for 23-yards lost. The Colts had six tackles-for-loss, as well, with Darius Leonard leading the way in tackles with eight, and a handful of Colts contributing to the sacks.
