The Chicago Bears (2-0) and Green Bay Packers (2-0) will be playing the first real meaningful game in the oldest NFL rivalry post-Favre when they meet at Soldier Field on Monday Night Football. Of course Bears and Packers fans alike would argue every game between the two bitter NFC North rivals is meaningful, but this is exactly the type of game Chicago envisioned playing when the team went out and traded for quarterback Jay Cutler before last season.
The Green Bay Packers (1-0) will try to move on after losing running back Ryan Grant for the season with an ankle injury when they host the Buffalo Bills (0-1) on Sunday. The Packers are the biggest favorites of the week at -13 on the NFL odds following a 27-20 victory at Philadelphia last Sunday while the Bills will be looking for more offense after they lost 15-10 at home to Miami.
The biggest injury news of the week is that the Green Bay Packers will be without running back Ryan Grant. He is out for the season with an ankle injury. The news had little impact on the NFL spreads. The Packers opened a 14-point favorite and it has gone down to 13. How much this effects the Packers will remain to be seen. The Packers are a pass-first team, but Grant was the go-to guy in the backfield, especially when the weather got bad later in the season. Brandon Jackson had 63 yards on 18 carries as Grant’s replacement last week, and may be able to fill the void. Here is a look at some of the significant injuries from the NFL injury report for week 2.

With the NFL season under way, let’s take a look at some of the better divisional rivalries and when they will happen.
