After the public drove the line down to -13.5, Missouri offers some value at the current price
The San Diego State Aztecs are expected to be a much improved football team this season. In recent years the Aztecs have been one of the Mountain West Conference’s doormats. But second year head coach Brady Hoke, Ball State’s former coach, has some tremendous talent back this year. Fans of the Aztecs are hoping this is the year that San Diego State gets back to a bowl, which would be the first time since 1998.

Jordan Wynn is not expected to start but may see some action Saturday vs. New Mexico

The Nevada Wolfpack are 2.5/3 point home underdogs on Friday night
The dogfight of the week will be more like a pack wild dogs as Cal travels to face Nevada. You may not have a dog in the fight, but the over looks very tempting. It’s a huge number (66), but a look at the game shows why the number is so high.  Cal has averaged 52 points a game the first two weeks and 436 yards off offense. Nevada has averaged 50 points a game and 352 yards offense. Both teams are going to put up some numbers, so it’s reasonable to think that they will both get into the 30s.  You can get our premium picks for the Friday and Saturday games on our college football betting picks page of the site.  Onto somemore anaylsis of the dogs for the week.

The Maryland Terrapins are coming off a forgettable 2009 season. Maryland went 2-10, worst under Ralph Friedgen. But two weeks into 2010 season Maryland has already matched its win total from a year ago, beating Navy and Morgan State.

Florida State, Miami, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech – all ranked teams – fell on Saturday.
