This should be a much bigger story than the baseball ones. What’s the worst that can happen if a baseball player is high or juiced – he hit better than heshould and makes a mockery of the record books. There is nothing good at all that can come from a guy who is driving 200 miles an hour inches away from other cars who is baked out of his mind.NASCAR really should have a one-strike-you’re-out policy.

TheLakers are healthy and effective inside, and this mismatch will all but certainly spell the end for Houston – especially because they were looking like they were trouble even without the injury. TheLakers should be able to end the series early if things go well, but that’s not as helpful as it should be – the Nuggets are playing ridiculously well and look like they could sweep theMavs.
Don’t look now, but the Angels are finally starting to get their act together. They got off to a brutal start, but they have won nine of their last 12, just broke above .500 for the first time, and are now just a half game out of first place in the division. For a while it looked like the division could be primed for an upset, but now it seems clear that the division looks exactly like everyone thought it would, and the Angels are going to cruise to the postseason.
