Richard, Ballage and Wilkins have all been good rushing the football. Richard leads the team in total yardage with 282 yards on 71 carries (4.0 yards per), while Ballage has nine rushing TDs through just three games on 37 carries and 255 yards. Wilkins has rushed for 191 yards from the QB position on 33 carries with 191 yards and a TD.

California is 2-1 after defeating Texas 50-43 in Week 3. The Golden Bears lost to San Diego State in Week 2, and it defeated Hawaii 51-31 in Week 1. In the win over then-No. 11 Texas, the Bears got a monster game from QB Davis Webb. He threw 27 of 40 for 396 yards and four TDs without throwing any interceptions.
Webb struggled to move the ball on the ground, though, losing 28 yards on five rushing attempts. But Cal had 111 rushing yards to offset its 396 in the air. Vic Enwere rushed for 110 yards on 18 carries and had two of Cal’s three rushing TDs.

Chad Hansen really got it done though. He caught 12 passes for 196 yards and two TDs, including a 38-yard pass play. Jordan Veasy and Melquise Kemyontai Stovall both had 77 and 74 yards, respectively, and both had a TD in the game as well. The Golden Bears needed that upset win to regain momentum after the Week 2 loss, but this will be a tough road game against ASU.
The Sun Devils have the offensive firepower to give Cal’s defense total fits, and this game will hardly be short of scoring as indicated by the ’83’ point total set by college football oddsmakers.
