The Boston Celtics are slight home favorites against the Orlando Magic on Monday night inside the TD Garden

Orlando has won its last three visits to Boston in the regular season, but still trail in the series 12-29 in games played on the road. The Magic snapped a two-game losing streak when both Jason Richardson and J.J. Redick scored 21 points to lead a second-half comeback in a 108-99 win over Minnesota. “Anytime you play with a center like Dwight Howard, it makes the game easier,” Richardson said. “It’s a fun way to play.” He has made 19 of 34 shots from 3-point range during the past five games and averaged 19.9 points over that span. The team is 26-14 overall and 8-3 on the road against Eastern Conference opponents. Orlando is 18-22 ATS on the season and currently an underdog on the NBA lines page.

The Magic will be focused on how point guard Jameer Nelson performs in tonight’s contest due to the team posting a 10-4 record against the Celtics when he scores at least 12 points. Orlando has used 10 different starting lineups so far this season, which is close to the 11 it used during the 2009-10 campaign.
