The Seattle Seahawks are going through the hangover that a lot of defending Super Bowl champs go through the next season. Every team they face gives them their best effort every week. Complacency is also a problem because players might not be as hungry as they were before they won the championship. Even at home where the Seahawks used to be almost invincible, the vaunted 12th man hasn’t been as intimidating. Still the Seahawks are 5-3 this season and currently hold the last playoff spot in the NFC. Seattle has won two straight games and this week they host the 3-5 New York Giants.

After the week one blowout of the Packers at home, Seattle hasn’t had a dominant performance at home since. Even the winless Raiders hung around last week. New York struggles on defense, and I think Seattle wins this game handily.
