The Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders entered the season as potential Super Bowl contenders. It hasn’t worked out that way for either team. The 6-7 Raiders host the 7-6 Cowboys Sunday night with both teams fighting to keep slim playoff hopes alive. This is an elimination game for all intents and purposes for the loser. The Cowboys are in second place in the NFC East but the 11-2 Philadelphia Eagles have already clinched the division. The Raiders are a game behind the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills for the last playoff spot in the AFC.

Dallas is 5-1 ATs against teams with losing home records, 4-1 in road games, 7-2 against teams with losing records, 17-5 on grass, 12-5 after a cover, and 2-5-1 in December.
Oakland is 3-1-1 ATS after allowing more than 150 rushing yards, 17-36-1 in December, 2-7-1 on grass, 1-4-1 after gaining more than 350 yards, 2-8-1 overall, 1-6-1 against teams with winning records, and 0-4-1 after rushing for less than 90 yards.
Both these teams have injuries to key players on defense and the offensive line. Neither is that great. Oakland is a tough place to play, but I think the Cowboys pull out a close win on the road.
