The 4-1 Seattle Seahawks are in first place in the NFC West over the 3-3 Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks can widen their lead as they travel to the Cardinals Sunday night. Seattle is one of four teams with one loss or fewer in the NFL.
The series is tied 17-17 between the Seahawks and Cardinals. Seattle has won five of the last seven games in the series. They split the series last year with the Cardinals winning 39-32 on the road. The Seahawks would return the favor 36-6 in Arizona in the last game of the regular season. However, the Cardinals had already clinched the division title and rested their starters. The teams will meet on Christmas Eve in Seattle.

Seattle is 6-1-1 ATS in week 7, 19-5-2 after passing for more than 250 yards, 20-41-2 in October, 2-5 after allowing more than 350 yards and overall, 1-4 after allowing 90 rushing yards or less, and against NFC teams, and 1-6 after a straight up win. The road team is 5-1 ATS in this series recently. The Seahawks are 5-2 ATS against the Cardinals recently.
Arizona is 6-2 ATS after allowing 90 rushing yards or less, 2-5 after a cover, and against teams with winning road records, 3-8 at home, 1-4 after a straight up win, 1-4-1 in week 7, 2-8 against teams with winning records, 1-5 after a win by 14 points or more and after allowing 15 points or less. The over is 10-2 in this series in games played in Arizona.
Seattle has won three games in a row, and Arizona has won two in a row. Of course, both teams winning streaks involve the Jets and 49ers, two of the worst teams in football. This should be a low scoring game because they both have dominant defenses and the offenses haven’t been that great at times. The Cardinals need this game slightly more because Seattle would be 5-1 with a win and be in firm control of the division. I like the Cardinals to win a close game.
