Kyle Orton 229.5 Passing Yards
Kyle Orton has thrown for 230 yards or more in each of his past five games and was good for 259 last week on 60.4 percent completion ratio. He threw one TD and no picks. Rivers has thrown 10 TDs and 4 INTs in wins and three TDs and one INT in losses. He’s likely to be good for 250 yards, so this seems like a good OVER. The only way he falls below this mark is if he sees a low number of attempts as he did against the Jets on Oct 16, but even then he still notched 236 yards.
Fred Jackson Total Yard 72.5
Fred Jackson has struggled recently and has just 351 yards on the season. Last week he carried 10 times for 49 yards, and he hasn’t had more than 60 yards since Sept 7 against a horrible Chicago Bears defense. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of reason to believe Jackson bounces back to this degree this week, especially against the Broncos. The Broncos only allow 72.7 rushing yards per game. He’s only averaging 3.9 yards per carry this season. The UNDER seems imperative and prudent to bet here.
Peyton Manning 300.5 Total Passing Yards
Peyton Manning guides the 2nd best pass offense in the league, generating 304.4 yards per game. Last week, Manning threw for 237 yards in a 31-17 rout of the Jets. He’s been good for 479 yards on Oct 5 against the Cardinals, but Peyton had been under 300 yards in back to back weeks against the Colts and Chiefs. This is a risky bet and no action seems to be the best course of action here.
Peyton Manning 25.5 Total Completions
Peyton Manning has thrown more than 25 completions in two of the past five games and was good for 22 in last week’s win, though it could have been far higher had the game been closer. A good measure, however, is what he did in the loss to the Seahawks and the stomping of Arizona (41-20). Manning threw for 31 completions in both those contests, and he may approach that number today, making this a good OVER.
Peyton Manning 3 Total TD Passes
This is another no action. He’s averaged three TDs exactly over his past five games. He will likely get 3 or 4 TDs today, with three being the most likely.
