The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t had enough fun taking their hapless football team around the USA, so the NFL’s worst team is taking its act internationally to London. San Francisco is ready to be the latest to beat up on Jacksonville. NFL oddsmakers at 5dimes favor the 49ers by 15.5 points in this contest, and that truthfully may be conservative.

The Jags rank last in the NFL in team defense, allowing 31.7 points per game and it has also surrendered the most rushing yardage, with 153.3 per game. The Jags have also allowed 400-plus yards three times this season, and San Francisco has a potent offense led by Colin Kaepernick and running back Frank Gore.

The 49ers are a run-heavy team, which should only further exploit Jacksonville’s weak defensive line. The 49ers are susceptible to the run, but there’s no sense pretending featured Jags back Maurice Jones-Drew still has it. He’s rushing for just 3.1 yards per carry on the year, and it seems like eons ago since he was an effective NFL back.

Chad Henne has stepped in at QB and been almost as bad as Blaine Gabbert. Henne has thrown five interceptions to just two touchdowns and he’s been sacked 16 times. His QB rating of 72.9 looks pretty awful until it is considered that Gabbert put up an overwhelmingly awesome 36.0. Besides that, Henne passed for 318 yards last Sunday, which at this point has to be a step in the right direction for Jacksonville.

San Francisco Betting Trends:

4-0 ATS in last 4 after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in previous game; UNDER 4-0 in last 4 week 8 games; 4-0 ATS in last 4 in OCT.

Jacksonville Betting Trends:

UNDER 6-0 in last 6 following Double-digit loss at home; 0-5 ATS in last 5 after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing previous game; 0-4 ATS in last 4 after accumulating more than 350 total yards in previous game.
