Though he scored just 10 points in the loss to Nebraska, he had a 30 point, eight rebound game before that against then-No. 15 Purdue in the first round of the Big Ten tournament.

Bronson Koenig and Ethan Happ are both fixtures in the Badgers’ offense too. Koenig averaged 13.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season while Happ led the team in rebounding with 7.8 boards per game and he also led the team in blocked shots (0.9 per game). Koenig has scored in double figures in four of the Badgers’ past five games, and he had 11 points, four assists and three rebounds in the loss to Nebraska. Koenig had 19 points on 6 of 10 shooting including 3 of 6 from three-point range in Wisconsin’s 68-57 win over Michigan on Feb. 28.
Pittsburgh finished the season 21-11 but was 9th in the ACC and lost 88-71 to North Carolina in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament. Pitt is led by 6’9” junior forward Michael Young. Young averaged 16 points, seven rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season for the Panthers, and he closed the season with 19 points and five boards against UNC. Young had 24 points and seven rebounds in the 63-59 loss to Georgia Tech on Mar. 5, and he had nine games this season with 20 points or more.
Pitt also gets strong play from Jamel Artis and James Robinson who average 14.4 points and 10.3 points per game, respectively. Artis is a 6’7” junior forward, and he had 19 points, four rebounds and two assists in the loss to UNC. He has scored in double figures in three of Pitt’s last five games, including a 6 of 10 shooting performance in a 76-62 win over Duke on Feb. 28. He has also hit six threes over the past five games and shot 35.7 percent from behind the arc this season.
