The Orlando Magic are riding a three-game win streak heading into Wednesday night's game against the New York Knicks

Orlando has won and covered its last three games as it concludes a two-game road trip in taking on the New York Knicks inside Madison Square Garden.  The Magic are coming off an impressive 117-101 blowout victory over the Toronto Raptors, as they were led by forward Ryan Anderson hitting a career-high eight 3-pointers en route to scoring 28 points.  He has hit an NBA-best 143 shots from beyond the arc during the 2011-12 campaign.  Orlando is 2-7 ATS after three or more consecutive wins this season.

The Magic are 14-10 overall on the road this season, including an 11-7 mark versus Eastern Conference rivals.  Orlando is 47-39 all-time versus New York, and has tallied a 21-22 record when playing in the Big Apple.  It’s important to note that the franchise has won 14 of the last 17 meetings overall.  All-Star center Dwight Howard is still the main player to watch on the offensive end, as he scored 23 points and 10 rebounds versus the Raptors.  He had averaged 25.4 points and 16.3 rebounds versus the Knicks in his last nine games before ending up with just eight in a 102-93 win in the first meeting of the season.

New York has won seven of its eight games under the direction of interim coach Mike Woodson, including an 89-80 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks as 4.5-point home favorites on Monday.  The Knicks have been getting it done on the defensive end, causing the “under” to cash in their last six games.  Over the last eight contests, the team is surrendering just 87.8 points per game, which is dramatically better than the 96.5 points it allowed during the Mike D’Antoni era.  New York is 14-11 ATS at home and the “under” is 15-11 in that situation.

The Knicks are 16-10 inside tonight’s venue during the 2011-12 campaign, including a 12-7 mark versus Eastern foes.  New York will look for another solid game out of forward Carmelo Anthony in this matchup, as he scored 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the first meeting.  The former Syracuse Orange star is leading the team in averaging 20.2 points per game.

Bettors will likely back the Magic due to their 6-2 ATS mark in the last eight meetings, while the Knicks are 4-5 ATS versus Southeast division opponents.
