The road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four games between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers

Denver has won four of its last five games, including a 110-88 blowout win of the Charlotte Bobcats as 15.5-point home favorites Saturday, while going UNDER the total in consecutive contests.  The Nuggets are averaging 109.3 points per game during their last four games, but have managed to shoot just 26.6 percent from beyond the arc.  The team is 7-12 on the road this year, which includes a 5-7 mark versus Western Conference opponents.  Denver is 2-0 ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 9 points this season, which can’t be ignored when making your NBA picks against the spread on Christmas Day.

The Nuggets have four probable starters averaging in double figures, with forward Danilo Gallinari scoring 15.6 points per game.  Denver has won 14 of its last 22 games versus Los Angeles, with six of the eight losses coming in Southern California.  Offensively, the team registered an NBA season-high 78 points in the paint last time out, as it leads the league in that category with 55.6 per game.

Los Angeles is the hottest team in the league after picking up a 103-77 victory over the Phoenix Suns as 6.5-point road favorites Sunday night, while going UNDER the total for  a fourth consecutive time.  “We’re just taking care of business right now,” stated Clippers forward Blake Griffin.  The Clippers have won a franchise-record 13 straight games—winning those games by an average margin of 15.7 points.  Los Angeles is 3-2 ATS as a home favorite of 6.5 to 9 points this season, with the OVER going 3-2 in those affairs.

The Clippers are 12-3 at the Staples Center this year, including an 8-2 mark versus conference foes.  Los Angeles will be led by point guard Chris Paul on the offensive end, as he averaged 24.3 points on 54 percent shooting in four games in this series a year ago.  Forward Blake Griffin has been putting up solid numbers recently, scoring 20.7 points per game over the team’s last 11 contests.

Sports bettors will likely back the Nuggets due to the road team being 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in this series, while the Clippers are 2-5 ATS versus teams with a winning record.
