The New York Knicks have the best home record in the NBA

Chicago has won three of its last four games, as it comes off a 100-89 victory over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, while going OVER the posted total of 181.  The Bulls have held 13 of their last 14 opponents under 100 points, which includes a 93-85 triumph over the Knicks on Dec. 8 as 2.5-point home underdogs.  The team is 6-4 on the road this season, which includes a perfect 5-0 mark versus Eastern Conference opponents.  Chicago is 6-4 ATS as a road underdog of 3.5 to 6 points over the last two-plus seasons.

The Bulls have won four of their last five games in this series dating back to last season, while averaging 101.5 points per game in four meetings a year ago.  Chicago will try to score 100 or more points in this contest, considering it has won all five games this season when doing so.  The front court trio of Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah are all players to watch offensively, with each averaging double figures in scoring.

New York is continuing to prove that it’s a force to be reckoned with during the 2012-13 regular season, as it comes off a dominating 100-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets as six-point home favorites, while going UNDER the total in consecutive contests.  The Knicks are a league-best 11-1 at home this season, averaging 104.8 points per game and shooting 40.7 percent from beyond the arc.  New York is 16-3 ATS as a home favorite of 3.5 to 6 points since 2010, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball odds page.

The Knicks are led by the play of star forward Carmelo Anthony, who is averaging a team-high 28.0 points per game.  He sat out the first meeting against the Bulls this season with a lacerated finger on his left hand, but did score 43 points in a 100-99 overtime win in the last game played between these two teams at Madison Square Garden.  The former Syracuse star has tallied four consecutive 30-point performances.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bulls due to the underdog covering four of the last five meetings in this series, while the Knicks are 6-7 ATS when revenging a loss versus an opponent.
