Philadelphia has alternated wins and losses over its last four games, as it comes off a 107-90 setback to the Philadelphia 76ers as 4.5-point home underdogs Monday night, while going OVER the total for the first time in six contests.  “If we can get this win on the road going into the All-Star break, it’s not only important from that point, but if they win they get the tiebreak,” stated 76ers coach Doug Collins.  The 76ers have lost seven of their last 12 meetings with the Bucks, while scoring 100-plus points just twice over the past 13.  Philadelphia is 2-4 ATS as a road underdog of 3.5 to 6 points this season, with the UNDER going 5-1 in that situation.

The 76ers have lost and failed to cover the spread in their first two meetings with the Bucks during the 2012-13 NBA campaign, which is important to consider when making your NBA betting picks Wednesday night.  Philadelphia will need a big game from leading scorer Jrue Holiday, who is averaging 17.0 points and 9.0 assists in those two affairs, but has also committed 16 turnovers.  This particular game is the club’s first road game since playing against tonight’s opponent at the Bradley Center on Jan. 22.

Milwaukee has lost four games in a row, including a 102-90 defeat to the Washington Wizards as 4.5-point home favorites Monday night, while going UNDER the total for a third consecutive contest.  “Right now we are spotty,” commented Bucks interim coach Jim Boylan.  The Bucks might be overvalued in the pro basketball odds, considering they’ve gone 0-4-1 ATS after falling shot of the betting total in three or more consecutive games.  Milwaukee is 11-10 ATS as home favorites of 3.5 to 6 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Bucks haven’t won three games in a row against the 76ers since the 2005-06 season, but they recorded a season-high in field goal percentage (51.6) in the last meeting.  Milwaukee ranks second in the league for most opponents turnovers this season, forcing 16.4 per game.  In each of the team’s last five losses, it at one point enjoyed a double-digit lead.

Sports bettors will likely back the 76ers due to the underdog going 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings, while the Bucks are 0-7 ATS in their last seven games.
