utside of Haslem, the Heat’s bench played no factor, and they have to get more from Mike Miller. Starter Shane Battier must also hit the open jumpers that he receives as a beneficiary of Wade and LBJ’s attention. The Duke product shot just 1 of 7 in game 4 and allowed Danny Granger to score 20 on the other end.
Granger, in fact, led the way for the Pacers in the losing effort. Darren Collison came off the bench to score 16 points in 20 minutes of play, but the Pacers starting backcourt of George Hill and Paul George shot just 6 of 20 from the floor.
Ideally, the Pacers still must get Roy Hibbert more involved, as well. Hibbert shot 9 times in game 4, hitting 4, but turned it over three times. He must play like the All Star he is for the Pacers to win this series.
Look for some small adjustments tonight. The Pacers will again try to slow the pace on the road, but Erik Spoelstra will seek to have his Heat running.
