Michigan State has won five games in a row, including a 29-6 victory over the Michigan Wolverines as four-point home favorites on Nov. 2, while going UNDER the betting total for a third consecutive contest.  The Spartans are in first place in the Big Ten Conference Legends Division, which is important to consider when making your college football predictions in Week 12.  The program is looking for its first-ever win over Nebraska in its eighth try in this series.  Michigan State is 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS as a road favorite the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 3-2-1 in that situation.

Through nine games, the Spartans lead the country in allowing just 210.2 yards per game, as they join the Louisville Cardinals as the only two schools to rank in the top five nationally in total, scoring, rushing and passing defense.  Michigan State has won 37 of its last 48 games dating back to the beginning of the 2010 campaign—tied for the most among Big Ten members.

Nebraska has put together a two-game winning streak, including a 17-13 victory over the Michigan Wolverines as 5.5-point road underdogs last Saturday, while going UNDER the total for the fourth time in five contests.  The Cornhuskers are 18-4 SU in the month of November under head coach Bo Pelini, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football odds page, while they’ve also won seven consecutive games decided by seven or fewer points.  Nebraska is 2-6 SUATS as an underdog the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 5-3 in those eight opportunities.

The Cornhuskers are led offensively by running back Ameer Abdullah, who has gained 1,213 yards on the ground this season.  He’ll have to carry a major load in this affair with starting signal-caller Taylor Martinez being sidelined with a foot injury.  Nebraska has won four of six home games against ranked opponents during the Pelini era.

Sports bettors will likely back the Spartans due to their 10-1-1 ATS mark in their last 12 road games.
