Oregon State is set to play its final regular season road of the year, as it comes off a 36-26 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils as 3.5-point home favorites, while going OVER the total for the first time in three contests. The Beavers have elected to go with Cody Vaz over Sean Mannion under center, which is an important factor to handicap when making your college football predictions this weekend. “It’s always a difficult thing to choose between two good players,” stated Beavers head coach Mike Riley. Stanford is 8-4 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus campaigns.
The Cardinal will certainly look to get running back Stepfan Taylor going, as he’s just 53 yards away from his third consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season, which would be a first in school history. Stanford rushed 48 times for 300 yards in last year’s meeting with Oregon State. Taylor’s 3,717 yards career rushing currently ranks sixth among active rushers in the NCAA.
