Both the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Christian Horned Frogs are 9-1 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 play as they play Saturday in Norman. Both teams are behind 7-0 Oklahoma State in the Big 12 standings. The Cowboys host Baylor Saturday. The Bears are 5-1 in conference.
Oklahoma leads the series 9-5 against TCU, but the Horned Frogs are 4-3 all-time in Norman. TCU won last year in Fort Worth 37-33.
TCU is coached by Gary Patterson. The Horned Frogs have road wins over Minnesota 23-17, Texas Tech 55-52, Kansas State 52-45 and Iowa State 45-21. TCU has home wins over Stephen F. Austin 70-7, SMU 56-37, Texas 50-7 and West Virginia 40-10 and Kansas 23-17 last week. TCU lost at Oklahoma State 49-29.
TCU was a 46.5 point favorite against winless Kansas last week and the total was 71. The Horned Frogs jumped out to an early 10-0 lead that included a 49 yard punt return for a touchdown. TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin injured his ankle in the first quarter and would not return. Kansas would tie it up by halftime. TCU scored the first 13 points of the second half. Kansas scored with just over six minutes left to pull within 23-17. The Jayhawks had three more possessions but were unable to score. TCU had 487 total yards but couldn’t score many points. TCU is 4-6 ATS and the total is 5-5 this season.
Oklahoma is coached by Bob Stoops. The Sooners have home wins over Akron 41-3, Tulsa 52-38, West Virginia 44-24, Texas Tech 63-27, and Iowa State 52-16, along with road wins at Tennessee 31-24 in double overtime, Kansas State 55-0, Kansas 62-7 and Baylor 44-34 last week. Oklahoma has won five straight games since a 24-17 loss against Texas in Dallas.
Oklahoma was a 1.5 point underdog at Baylor and the total was 76. There was heavy rain for most of the game. Both teams missed extra points in the first half. Oklahoma would take a 20-13 lead into halftime. The Bears tied it up early in the third, but Oklahoma scored 14 straight points and would never trail again. Baylor pulled to within 37-34 with just over 10 minutes left. Oklahoma scored again to go up 44-34 with 4:47 left. The Sooners had 511 total yards to 416 for Baylor. The Bears had three turnovers to one for the Sooners. Oklahoma is 8-2 ATS and the total is 7-3 this season.

Receiver Josh Doctson has 79 catches for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns. He is out for the season with shoulder and wrist injuries. KaVontae Turpin has 36 catches for 483 yards and 6 touchdowns. Kolby Listenbee has 24 catches for 495 yards and 4 touchdowns. Desmon White has 19 catches for 258 yards. Shaun Nixon has 31 catches for 401 yards and a touchdowns. Ty Slanina has 11 catches for 134 yards, but is out for the season with a broken collarbone. Three defensive players are listed as questionable or out.
