The Missouri Tigers have tallied a perfect 15-0 record inside Mizzou Arena this year

Kansas State will be facing its third straight top-10 opponent on Tuesday night and will look to sweep its 2011-12 series with the Missouri Tigers.  The Wildcats tallied a 75-59 win as one-point home underdogs on Jan. 7, which was also the Tigers first loss of the year.  The team is certainly feeling good about itself after picking up a 57-56 win over the Baylor Bears as 7.5-point road underdogs on Saturday.  “To come to their building and win this game, it feels great,” stated Wildcats point guard Angel Rodriguez.  Kansas State is 0-2 ATS as an underdog of 9.5 to 12 points the last two-plus years.

The Wildcats haven’t faced back-to-back top-10 opponents on the road since losses to No. 2 Kansas and No. 3 Missouri in February 1990.  Kansas State has compiled a 19-20 road record versus Big 12 opponents under head coach Frank Martin since the 2007-08 season.  He is 5-4 overall in this series, but has lost all four games when playing inside Mizzou Arena.  In the first meeting this year, the Wildcats hit 49.1 percent of its shots from the field, including 58.6 percent in the first half.

Missouri has rattled off seven wins in a row since its last defeat and has gone “over” the total in two consecutive games.  The Tigers return home after picking up a solid 71-62 win over the Texas A&M Aggies as seven-point road favorites.  “They move the ball so well, and they’re so disciplined offensively,” commented Aggies head coach Billy Kennedy about the Tigers.  Senior guard Marcus Denmon leads the charge, averaging 17.8 points per game.  Missouri is 12-6 ATS as a favorite and the “over” is 10-8 in that situation.

The Tigers are third nationally and pace the Big 12 in shooting 50.3 percent from the floor, but were held to a season-low 32.7 percent shooting versus the Wildcats in Manhattan.  Missouri is looking to push its record to 26-2 for the first time in school history with a victory in this prime-time contest.  Revenge is likely to occur in this affair due to the senior class compiling a 66-3 record inside tonight’s venue, including a 15-0 mark this year.

Bettors will likely back the Tigers due to the home team being 13-3-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings, while the Wildcats are 1-8 ATS versus winning teams.
