South Carolina is 2-5 on the season and will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak, dropping a 76-67 contest to the Providence Friars as 6.5-point home favorites last time out. The Gamecocks were led by senior forward Malik Cooke, who tallied a game-high 21 points, falling just a point shy of his career high. The program has tallied a 281-404 all-time record against ACC schools, with the last victory against such an opponent coming in a 64-60 win over Clemson on Dec. 5, 2010. South Carolina is 1-5 ATS versus ACC opponents the last two-plus years.

Clemson may be trailing in the all-time series, but it has won 32 of 47 games between the two schools since South Carolina left the ACC after the 1971-72 campaign. Andre Young is certainly the general on the floor, tallying 268 assists and just 128 turnovers in this career, ranking third-best in school history with a 2.09 assist-to-turnover ratio.
