The Washington Huskies have dropped four consecutive games against the number as favorites of 6.5 points or less

Washington is about to embark on its longest trip outside of Seattle this year in starting a three-game road trip Friday night.  The Huskies will travel 5,946 miles over a span of 10 days.  Offensively, the team is led by sophomore guard C.J. Wilcox, who is averaging 16.2 points per game and averaging 3.2 three-point field goals a contest.  Junior guard Abdul Gaddy is the distributor on the court, leading the Pac-12 Conference in averaging 5.2 assists per game.  Washington is 5-2 ATS as a road favorite of 3.5 to 6 points, while the ‘over’ is 4-3 in that situation.

The Huskies will be meeting the Wolf Pack for the eighth time, walking away with a dominating 90-60 win as 24-point home favorites last year.  Washington leads all conference members in scoring 82.6 points per game and is shooting 46.1 percent from beyond the arc.  On its current pace, the team will shatter the school record of 40.1 percent three-point shooting that was set in 1989.  The team’s top four leading scorers are guards.

Nevada will play its first game since tallying a 64-59 win over the Bradley Braves as four-point neutral-court favorites on Nov. 26.  The Wolf Pack were led by the play of Malik Story, who scored 20 points, hitting 4 of 6 tries from the three-point area.  Getting to the charity stripe has been a strength for this team, making 108 free throws and having its seven opponents attempt just 87.  Nevada is 5-1 ATS as a home underdog of 3.5 to 6 points, while failing to cover both Friday games this season.

The Wolf Pack were quite pleased that Story was named the WAC Player of the Week, as he was also named to the all-tournament team in the Chicago Invitational it just played.  Nevada also has point guard Deonte Burton, who became the fifth player in school history to be selected as the WAC Coaches’ Preseason Player of the Year.  From a situational standpoint, the team has tallied a 113-25 record inside the Lawlor Events Center over the past eight seasons, including a 3-1 mark entering this Friday night affair.

Bettors will likely back the Wolf Pack due to their 5-2 ATS mark in non-conference action, while the Huskies are 0-4 ATS when favored by 6.5 points or less.
