The 11-2 Oregon Ducks open Pac 12 play at arch rival Oregon St Sunday. The 10-3 Beavers are also playing their first Pac 12 game of the season. This is the 338th meeting between the rivals, more than any other match-up in NCAA history. Oregon St leads the series 184-153, including 99-61 in Corvallis. The two teams split the season series last year, with each winning on the road.
Oregon is coached by Dana Altman. The Ducks have losses Cincinnati in a tournament in Las Vegas an at UTEP in triple overtime. Oregon has key wins over Vanderbilt, at UNLV, Nebraska, and Nevada. This could be a high scoring game as both teams average almost 80 points a game. Oregon is a much better defensive team though. I think that will be the difference, as the Ducks win on the road.
