Florida hits the road for the third time in four games, as it looks to extend its six-game win streak, coming off an impressive 83-52 victory over the Missouri Tigers as 12.5-point home favorites last time out.  The Gators have shot 51.5 percent and won by an average of 26.7 points in their four Southeastern Conference games to this point.  The team has won 16 of the last 19 meetings in this series, including a 77-44 blowout victory as 19.5-point home favorites on Jan. 9.  Florida is 3-3 ATS in its last six opportunities as a road favorite of 12.5 or more points, something to consider when looking over the college basketball odds page.

The Gators’ 33-point win over the Bulldogs is tied for the second-largest victory in series history, as they managed to knock down a season-high 12 3-pointers.  Florida has four of five probable starters averaging in double figures, with senior guard Kenny Boynton leading the way, scoring 13.3 points per game.  The program enjoyed a 48-14 advantage in the paint and 34-12 edge in points off turnovers in the first go around against Wednesday night’s opponent.

Georgia is fresh off its first conference win of the year, as it snapped a three-game losing streak in picking up a 67-58 victory over the LSU Tigers as 2.5-point home favorites, while going UNDER the posted total of 128.  The Bulldogs will need a huge effort out of guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is averaging 17.1 points per game, but was held to just 11 in the first meeting with the Gators.  Georgia is 2-4 ATS as an underdog this year, something to consider when making your college basketball picks against the spread.

The Bulldogs have won three of their last four meetings with the Gators in Athens, but the team is the only SEC school to possess just a single double-digit scorer.  Georgia has had four different players lead the squad in scoring this year, while eight different members of the roster have taken turns being the second-leading scorer.

Sports bettors will likely back the Gators due to their 4-1 ATS mark in the last five meetings in this series.
