Cincinnati settled for a 37-37 tie against the Carolina Panthers as seven-point home favorites last week, while going OVER the betting total for a second consecutive contest.  The Bengals may be without the services of star wide receiver A.J. Green for a second game, which is important to consider when making your pro football picks, as he averaged 104.7 receiving yards as quarterback Andy Dalton’s main target in the first three contests.  Cincinnati is 5-2 SU and 5-1-1 ATS as road underdogs of three or fewer points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 4-3 in that situation.

The Bengals have plenty of offensive weapons, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro football odds, as running back Giovanni Bernard is capable of hitting pay dirt from anywhere on the field.  Bernard finished with a career-high 137 rushing yards on 18 carries last week and sits behind just four players in averaging 112.4 scrimmage yards per game.  Cincinnati will need to control the line of scrimmage defensively, as it has allowed its last three opponents to average 172.0 yards on the ground over that span.

Indianapolis is enjoying a 4-0 SUATS run over the last four games, while it has also won the statistical battle by a triple-digit margin in every matchup over that period of time.  The Colts have won all six previous meetings when playing at home in this series, but the Bengals scored 69 combined points in capturing the last two at Paul Brown Stadium.  Third-year quarterback Andrew Luck is the main player to handicap, as he paces the league with 1,987 passing yards and 17 touchdowns.  Indianapolis is 16-4 SU and 14-5-1 ATS as favorites the last two-plus seasons.

The Colts have plenty of weapons surrounding their star quarterback out of Stanford, including wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who sits behind just three players with 604 receiving yards on 40 catches.  Indianapolis should find success in the passing game due to Cincinnati allowing an average of 288 yards through the air in its last two affairs.

Sports bettors will likely back the Colts due to their 15-5 ATS mark at home the last two-plus seasons.
