Texas Tech has been bet up by the public and normally you should fade those types of moves
This Sunday features an interesting match-up between the Southern Methodist Mustangs and Texas Tech Red Raiders. Our college football betting lines page indicates that the Red Raiders opened as 10 ½ point favorites. But heavy betting on the side of Tech (75%) has raised that number to 13 ½ points at most books. With that many points, I think it’s wise to fade this public favorite and back the Mustangs.

Wiseguys like Kansas State to cover against the injury plagued Bruins
The UCLA Bruins travel to Manhattan, Kansas to do battle with the Kansas State Wildcats this Saturday. UCLA is coming off a moderately successful 2009 campaign, finishing 7-6 after defeating Temple in the EagleBank Bowl. Kansas State also saw improvement last season, ending up 6-6 but unable to play in a bowl game since two wins came against I-AA teams.

The Beavers are a solid college football pick offering value on the moneyline
The TCU Horned Frogs and Oregon State Beavers are two teams that consistently outperform expectations. Year in and year out, these two clubs are at or near the top of their respective conference, the Mountain West and Pac 10. Last year TCU ran the regular season table, losing to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. Oregon State was a game away from the Rose Bowl, but a loss to bitter in-state rival Oregon sent the Beavers to the Las Vegas Bowl. Oregon State was manhandled by BYU, likely the result of a post-Oregon hangover.

The week 4 nfl preseason lines updated with thoughts
The NFL preseason concludes tonight with all 32 teams in action. The 53 man roster cuts are this Saturday, so this is the last chance for coaches to evaluate players and players to impress coaches. Arizona Cardinals Football
With Leinart and Anderson in a QB duel for the starting position, both should see a decent amount of action tonight.
When the Washington Redskins head to Arizona to take on the Cardinals Thursday night, the ‘Skins will travel farther than any other preseason team this year. In fact, this will be the longest road trip for the Redskins all season long. “Why couldn’t they come here?” asked guard Derrick Dockery. Head coach Mike Shanahan added, “It’s a little unusual traveling that far.” These are not the kind of comments you want to be reading if you are backing Washington. Considering this is the final week of the preseason and the game doesn’t really matter, Redskins bettors should be very worried.

Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers
No Rodgers, no problem says the public, they will continue to take the +6 on the Pack all the way til kickoff
The Green Bay Packers have been the most offensively prolific team in the NFL preseason. Through 3 games the Pack have put up 110 points, including a 59-24 drubbing of the Indianapolis Colts last week. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been outstanding, having thrown 6 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.

The public is betting the Cowboys, but the wiseguys are saying no so fast my friends, the Fish are the side to play.
The Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys will meet Thursday night in Dallas for the final preseason game of the season. The last week of the preseason – more than any other week – is always a mystery. Who will play? What are coaches hoping to work on? What do experts know that the public does not?

Jake Locker Washington Huskies Football
If you are college football betting this game, Washington +3 looks like the way to go
The Washington Huskies are no longer the doormat of the Pac 10 conference. Two years removed from former head coach Tyrone Willingham’s disastrous 2008 season, during which the Huskies won no games, the table is set for Washington to return to postseason play. Second year head coach Steve Sarkisian looks to build off last year’s five-win campaign that included a huge upset of USC in Husky Stadium. This year the Huskies have a somewhat favorable schedule and a load of experienced talent, and have an outside shot of winning the Pac 10 conference, which appears to be up for grabs.

Maddux has us rated to the moon, but if this line gets to over 5 TD's, Utah State offers some good value as a college football pick
The Oklahoma Sooners are expected to annihilate the Utah State Aggies this Saturday evening. According to our college football betting lines page, the Sooners opened as a 28 point favorite and now books are listing the game at 34 points. The betting public is on the side of the Sooners at a staggering 97% clip, which is why the line has jumped 6 points. By game time, this line will hopefully be at or over 35 ½ points.
