Our college football picks moneyline play this week will fade Bill Stewarts Mountaineers
The Maryland Terrapins are coming off a forgettable 2009 season. Maryland went 2-10, worst under Ralph Friedgen. One of the Terrapins two wins was in overtime against James Madison, which recently shocked the college football world against Virginia Tech. But two weeks into 2010 season Maryland has already matched its win total from a year ago, beating Navy and Morgan State.

Week 2 NFL Lines
The week 2 nfl lines are posted with the opening NFL odds included
The first week of NFL action brought about some interesting storylines. Are the Colts no longer the dominant team in the AFC East? Houston played exceptionally well, and Tennessee and Jacksonville had nice wins. Will Michael Vick be the starter in Philadelphia? Kevin Kolb was terribly ineffective. Are the Patriots and Giants back to old form? Both teams scored big home wins. And what about the Cowboys’ showing in Washington? Heads are gonna roll in the Big D.

New England Patriots Football
The Patriots moved up 2 spots to the number 3 spot in our NFL power rankings this week
1. New Orleans Saints, 1-0 (1) – The Saints earned a hard fought victory over the Vikings. The offense ended up being balanced, but expect to see Sean Payton run the ball more often in the first half of games. Garrett Hartley can’t afford miss easy kicks. The New Orleans defense was impressive.

The Michigan Wolverines are quickly climbing up the top 25 rankings thanks to the play of Denard Robinson
1. Alabama Crimson Tide, 2-0 (1) – The Tide rolled over Penn State Saturday night. Mark Ingram’s injury hasn’t slowed down a balanced, powerful offensive attack. Trent Richardson ran especially well, totaling 144 rushing yards and averaging 6.5 yards per carry. Alabama should have no trouble with Duke, but the schedule gets tougher with a trip to Arkansas followed by a visit from Florida. Last week: Defeated Penn State, 24-3. This week: at Duke (1-1).

The St. Louis Rams are coming off a disastrous 2009 campaign. They were awful. Stephen Jackson is a great player, but as a team the Rams were horrible. They were so bad that they were able to choose first in the NFL draft. The Rams selected Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford with the first pick, and Bradford is set to lead the Rams in 2010.
