TORONTO RAPTORS PLAYER PROP BETS AT BOVADA.LV
The Toronto Raptors have been getting consistent production from superstar Kawhi Leonard, but his teammates have been inconsistent at best in this series. Pascal Siakam has missed his last 12 three-point shots, Marc Gasol has been an offensive factor only sometimes, and the bench has been between huge and barely noticeable over the first five games of this series. What can we expect from the Raptors outside of a good and productive game from Leonard? It is dicey at best, but let us try to deconstruct a handful of Game 6 Raptors’ prop bets at Bovada.
Fred Van Vleet O/U 10.5 points (O -125; U -105)
Fred VanVleet has been an important Raptor in this series. He scored 11 points on just seven field goal attempts in Game 5, which bodes well for the over on a 10.5 prop here. The Wichita State product has scored 11, 8, 11, 17, and 17 in the five games of this series— just one of the five games being under tonight’s mark. It seems to make it clear the choice here is the OVER for VanVleet.
Kawhi Leonard O/U 26.5 points (O -250; U +195)
Kawhi Leonard struggled last game in shooting just 9 of 24, and he still scored 26 points. He has averaged 37 points per game against Golden State this season, though, and he had scored 30 or more in the previous three games going into the Game 5 loss. Leonard is shooting 50 percent from three against Golden State and he has shot 50 percent or better from behind the arc in two of the first five games in this series— the OVER is the choice on 26.5 points, but the next prop on Kawhi is a bit trickier.
Kawhi Leonard O/U 31.5 points (O -115; U -115)
Leonard is averaging 37 points per game against Golden State, but he struggled last game with “only” 26. This is a tough bet, but if the Raptors are going to close out the series they nearly need it from Leonard tonight. Golden State will be without its “12 minutes of Durant,” but Leonard has been pressing with his teammates mostly struggling at least a little, and Pascal Siakam struggling a lot. Siakam being on helps Leonard in this prop, and he has not been. We are calling a PUSH, or staying away from this bet.
Kyle Lowry O/U 15.5 points (O -115; U -115)
Kyle Lowry has been known to really crap out in some of the most important games and at some of the most important moments, but he did not play a bad game 5. Lowry finished with 16 points on 50 percent shooting, but he and VanVleet have the tough task of chasing Curry and Thompson around in a game the Oracle is going to be quite alive for. Lowry’s defensive tasks might slow his offensive punch some, and the UNDER is the bid to take on this one.
Pascal Siakam O/U 18.5 points (O -110; U -120)
Pascal Siakam had been the hero for the Raptors up until this point in the playoffs, but teams, the Warriors in particular, seem to be figuring out ways to slow the long and gifted power forward. Siakam mostly lacks any moves going left at all, and his jumper is not falling— it is easy to say he is in a slump. For that reason, and that reason alone, the UNDER on 18.5 points is the way to go, at -120 at Bovada.
Serge Ibaka O/U 9.5 points (O -115; U -115)
While Siakam may struggle, Ibaka will become that much more important and he has been one of the most consistent forces off the Raptors bench. He would start on most teams, and while he is not the defensive demon he was in his prime with the Oklahoma City Thunder, he is still one of the better mid-range shooting 4s in the league and very consistent. We like the OVER on Ibaka’s 9.5 points, with the under offering the same -115 odds at Bovada.
