The No. 3 ranked Clemson Tigers are 3-0 after knocking off Georgia Southern 38-7 last week in Week 3. Weeks 1 and 2 saw Clemson defeat Furman and Texas A&M, and it will be 15.5-point favorites this week as it travels to face Georgia Tech. The over/under is set at 51 points according to college football oddsmakers at 5dimes, and the game will air at 2:30 CT on ABC.

Clemson

Clemson has split its quarterback situation up between Trevor Lawrence and Kelly Bryant. Lawrence is 26 of 42 for 424 yards with five TDs and one INT. Bryant is 30 of 44 for 405 yards with two TDs and a pick. Lawrence boasts the better passer rating at 181.2, while Bryant is good for 156.0, but Clemson really has not faced any major challenges thus far in the 2018 season.

Running back Travis Etienne has rushed 35 times for 269 yards and a team-high four rushing TDs. Bryant functions as a dual-threat QB with 26 rushes for 125 carries, including a 35-yard TD run among his two rushing touchdowns. Lyn-J Dixon has been the best per-attempt with 10.5 yards-per on his mere 11 attempts this year. The WR core is led by Tee Higgins, Amari Rodgers and Hunter Renfrow. The trio has all caught for 100-plus yards, as has No. 4 receiver Justyn Ross. The Tigers are averaging 14.2 yards per reception, and have seven team receiving TDs on the year.

Kicker Greg Huegal has struggled some, hitting just 3 of his 5 field goal attempts, with one miss coming from within 40-yards. He has connected on all 14 of his extra point attempts, though.

Ga Tech

Georgia Tech is 1-2 after consecutive losses to USF and Pittsburgh. It won its opener against Alcorn State. The Yellow Jackets had a tough time with Pitt’s defense in Week 3. The Jackets did rush for 320 yards on 56 attempts (5.7 yards per), but it struggled to move via the pass with QB TaQuon Marshall throwing just 6 of 15 for 66 yards with an interception.

The Yellow Jackets are, definitively, a rush offense, and Marshall is a part of that in his senior year at Georgia Tech. Last year he threw just 37 percent for completion, but the 5’10” speedster has rushed for 77, 113 and 103 yards in his first three games. Marshall averages 5.9 yards-per-carry and has four rushing TDs already on the season. The Yellow Jackets attack may be a bit one-dimensional to give many problems to Clemson, though.
