The Duke Blue Devils have won 14 of their last 15 regular season games

Duke has won and covered the number in back-to-back games, including a 20-13 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers as three-point home favorites on Oct. 18, but it has been out-gained by a triple-digit margin in its last three affairs.  The Blue Devils own a 88-36-5 SU all-time record as a nationally-ranked team, which can’t be ignored when making your Week 10 college football betting picks, as it split four games in that situation a year ago.  Duke is 7-0 SUATS when the betting line is between +3 and -3 since 2012.

The Blue Devils have won 14 of their last 15 regular season games, which is important to consider when looking over the college football odds page, while they’ve posted a 5-3 SU record following a traditional open date under head coach David Cutcliffe.  Duke has  one of the best defensive playmakers in the country in safety Jeremy Cash, who has 63 tackles, two interceptions and three caused fumbles.  Offensively, the line has done a tremendous job, with the unit allowing just 0.57 sacks per game.

Pittsburgh is 1-4 SU and 1-3-1 ATS in its last five games, as it looks to move past a 56-28 setback to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as 3.5-point home favorites last week, while going OVER the betting total for the first time in five affairs.  The Panthers are producing 233.9 rushing yards per game, but their defense is allowing a figure of 193.4—ranking 13th in the Atlantic Coast Conference and 99th nationally.  Pittsburgh is 3-4 SUATS when the betting line is between +3 and -3 the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 4-3 in those seven opportunities.

The Panthers are scoring 29 points per game, but they’ll have a hard time reaching that type of number in this ACC matchup, with the Blue Devils owning the fifth-ranked stop unit in the country in terms of scoring.  Pittsburgh sophomore running back James Conner is making a strong play for the ACC Offensive Player of the year, as he enters with 1,079 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.

Sports bettors will likely back the Blue Devils due to their 12-8 ATS mark versus conference rivals.
