America East Tournament Preview
The New Mexico Lobos are 5-0 ATS in their five meetings with the Boise State Broncos

New Mexico has won six games in a row, including a 66-61 overtime victory over the Wyoming Cowboys as 12-point home favorites a week ago, while going UNDER the betting total for the third time in four contests.  The Lobos have three players averaging in double figures, with senior forward Cameron Bairstow leading the way at 20.0 points a contest.  The program is 5-0 SU all-time against Boise State—something to consider when making your college basketball predictions.  New Mexico is 3-0 SUATS as road underdogs of three or fewer points the last two-plus seasons.

The Lobos have allowed more than 33 points in the first half only once in the last 11 games, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball odds page.  New Mexico has turned the ball over in double digits just three times in 10 Mountain West Conference games, while its average of 10.59 per game would set a school record if the season ended today.  The program is 16-0 SU when leading at the break and 2-4 when trailing at that stage of the game.

Boise State looks to stop a three-game skid in this affair, as the school prepares to host a “Black Out” for this high-profile matchup.  The Broncos have outscored opponents by 8.5 points per game on the season—shooting 46 percent from the field and limiting foes to 45.2 percent.  Offensively, the squad has three players averaging in double figures, with guard Anthony Drmic leading the way at 17.2 points a contest.  Boise State is 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS as home favorites of three or fewer points since the start of the 2011-12 campaign.

The Broncos lead the Mountain West and rank 50th nationally in averaging 77.1 points per game, which has been helped by knocking down a league-leading 75 percent of their shots from the charity stripe.  Boise State is first in defensive rebounding percentage, while sitting behind five teams on the offensive end in terms of the glass.

Sports bettors will likely back the Lobos due to their 5-0 ATS mark in the last five meetings in this series.
