A tight hammy has caused the tightly wound Dallas Cowboy Terrell Owens to miss a second practice, confining him to working out on a stationary bike. No matter what he does, the controversial Owens is likely to draw attention to himself. Jerry Jones thinks its fine that Owens missed practice.
While Bill Parcells hasn’t specifically singled Owens out, he has generally noted that he feels that the offense is far behind the defense, hinting that the Cowboys may be bound for two-a-days. Owens’ hamstring may be nothing, but it could be the beginning of another T.O. episode. With any other player, it wouldn’t even be an issue. But with Owens more focused last season on creating off field headlines rather than on field victories any type of deviation from the standard routine seems worthy of reporting. Will T.O. miss a third, fourth and fifth day of practice? Stay tuned.
