Nuggets Warriors NBA Game Preview
Golden State Warriors PG Stephen Curry is a game-time decision with an ankle injury Sunday

San Antonio owns a 2-1 advantage in this best-of-seven series after picking up a 102-92 victory over Golden State as two-point road underdogs in Game 3 Friday, while going UNDER the total for a second consecutive contest.  “It’s a huge win,” commented Spurs point guard Tony Parker.  “We played a lot more physical on the defensive end.”  He finished with a game-high 32 points, but is listed as probable with a calf injury in Game 4.  San Antonio is 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in the 2013 NBA playoffs, which is important to consider when looking over the pro basketball odds page.

The Spurs were 23-18 overall when playing away from the AT&T Center, including a 11-15 mark versus Western Conference foes.  San Antonio has compiled a 12-2 record in the postseason when Parker scores 30 or more points, but forward Tim Duncan will likely need to be the star on the offensive end Sunday, as he comes in averaging 19.3 points and 8.6 rebounds.  The former Wake Forest star finished with 23 and 10 in those categories last time out.

Golden State is certainly up against it in facing a veteran-laden roster if star point guard Stephen Curry is unable to go in this affair, as he’s dealing with a left ankle injury.  “You never really know how it’s going to feel the next day,” commented Curry Saturday.  He’s averaging a team-high 25.3 points and 8.8 assists during the playoffs, but shot just 5 of 17 from the field Friday.  Jarrett Jack may be called upon to play extra minutes in this affair, with the team going 2-2 without its star on the floor during the regular season.  Golden State is 2-0 SUATS when trailing in a playoff series.

The Warriors have won three of four games at Oracle Arena since moving past the regular season, which can’t be ignored when making your NBA picks against the spread.  Golden State has won seven of its last nine home playoff games, but hasn’t won two series in the same playoffs since walking away with the championship in 1975.

Sports bettors will likely play the total in this affair, with the UNDER going 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings
