North Texas is 9-3 ATS against UL-Lafayette since the teams joined the Sun Belt. The underdog is 5-2 ATS in this series recently.
Even though North Texas is playing at home, these mid-week college football games rarely provide a true home field advantage. The stadiums are usually half-filled if that. This is only the second nationally televised home game for North Texas since 2001. The problem is UL-Lafayette is much better than the Mean Green. I like the Cajuns to continue their winning streak against North Texas.

Oops! Mean Green are better than you thought.
True, but in my defense, I had never seen either team play this season. I was just going off of stats and ULL looked like the better team on paper. Yeah, yeah they don’t play games on paper. I almost took North Texas, because they had a much tougher schedule, but I didn’t. Oh well, wasn’t the first time I have been wrong, and it certainly won’t be the last. Good thing there are plenty of games this weekend to try again. Thanks for reading.
