There is no denying the talent of the Dallas Cowboys, but do they have leadership and coaching to take the next step and get to the Super Bowl? That is highly debatable, especially considering that rookie WR Dez Bryant is already having issues with authority in training camp. If nobody steps up to assume more responsibility and lead the Cowboys, not even a favorable schedule will translate to more success than last year and save Wade Phillips’ job following this season.

Here’s what this year’s schedule looks like for the Cowboys:
Week 1 Sunday, September 12, 2010 @ Washington Redskins
Analysis: The Cowboys will get the first glimpse of Donovan McNabb in a Redskins uniform after handing him his last two losses in an Eagles uniform, essentially ending his career in Philly.
Week 2 Sunday, September 19, 2010 vs. Chicago Bears
Analysis: The Bears could be coming off an impressive offensive performance against the Lions, but they will be facing a completely different animal defensively here in Dallas.
Week 3 Sunday, September 26, 2010 @ Houston Texans
Analysis: The Texans will present another stiff offensive challenge for the Cowboys in what could be their most hyped home game in franchise history.
Week 4 — BYE WEEK —
Week 5 Sunday, October 10, 2010 vs. Tennessee Titans
Analysis: The Titans will be playing the second of three road games in four weeks while the Cowboys will be well-rest off their bye week with the Vikings on deck.
Week 6 Sunday, October 17, 2010 @ Minnesota Vikings
Analysis: This is a rematch of last year’s 34-3 divisional playoff blowout win for the Vikings, who will be in a much different situation this time around off a visit to the Jets on Monday Night Football and tough road games at Green Bay and New England upcoming.
Week 7 Monday, October 25, 2010 vs. New York Giants
Analysis: The Giants will be playing their first divisional game of the season at Dallas on Monday Night Football before their bye week and then host them three weeks later.
Week 8 Sunday, October 31, 2010 vs. Jackonville Jaguars
Analysis: The Jaguars will also be closing out the first half of their season before their bye week against the Cowboys, which concludes a stretch of three road games in four weeks.
Week 9 Sunday, November 7, 2010 @ Green Bay Packers
Analysis: The Cowboys suffered their worst regular-season loss at Green Bay a year ago, ending a four-game winning streak.
Week 10 Sunday, November 14, 2010 @ New York Giants
Analysis: The Giants face the Cowboys again in between road games at Seattle and Philadelphia.
Week 11 Sunday, November 21, 2010 vs. Detroit Lions
Analysis: Dallas gets a bit of a break here against the Lions before both teams host Thanksgiving Day games four days later.
Week 12 Thursday, November 25, 2010 vs. New Orleans Saints
Analysis: The Saints will be out to avenge their first loss of last season against the Cowboys, which ended their 13-game winning streak.
Week 13 Sunday, December 5, 2010 @ Indianapolis Colts
Analysis: This game concludes a string of five straight against playoff teams from a year ago for the Colts, who have virtually no chance to duplicate last season’s 14-0 start.
Week 14 Sunday, December 12, 2010 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Analysis: Dallas will face the Eagles in two of the last four weeks of the regular season, and both teams will end up playing divisional opponents three times in the last month.
Week 15 Sunday, December 19, 2010 vs. Washington Redskins
Analysis: The Cowboys play their home finale against a Washington team they have not seen in more than three months.
Week 16 Saturday, December 25, 2010 @ Arizona Cardinals
Analysis: The Cardinals host Dallas in their home finale sandwiched in between road games at Carolina and San Francisco.
Week 17 Sunday, January 2, 2011 @ Philadelphia Eagles
Analysis: The Cowboys close out the regular season against the Eagles for the third straight year and hope they avoid a similar result to the last time they visited Philadelphia (a 44-6 loss).
really? authority problems? wow your a moron dont write again
Please tell me who the leader of the Cowboys is right now and how many Super Bowls they have won in the last decade. Tony Romo was one of 10 QBs to throw for over 4,000 yards last year and Wade Phillips has never won anything. Think harder before you comment Big D.
