The USC Trojans have won 22 games in a row, 33 out of their last 34, with the only loss coming against Cal in triple overtime back in 2003. This year USC is head and shoulders above rest of Pac 10, and not one team comes close to matching the stock pile of raw and athletic players the Trojans have. USC returns nine offensive starters from an already prolific unit that put up over 38 points per contest in 2004. Leading the way is Heisman trophy winner Matt Leinart, who returns for his senior season, along with Reggie Bush, and Lendale White, to form the best offense backfield in the country. The defense in all reality won’t be as good as lasts years squad, which held opponents to 13 points per game, but it is still one of the better defenses in the nation. All in all USC is the best team in the country and the question isn't will the Trojans get to the Rose Bowl, but who will they be playing come January 4th.
