With the loss of Eli Manning and a number of starters, last season was clearly a rebuilding year for Ole Miss. In an odd move Mississippi decided to let head coach David Cutcliffe go in favor of Ed Orgeron. He is left with some talent and a convenient schedule drawing both Vanderbilt and Kentucky. This will be Orgeron’s first head coaching job. If they can win their non conference games and have a little luck along the way he could just lead Mississippi to a bowl game.
